The “Festive Season” is not festive for many pets, and it can be a real "dog's breakfast" out in the field for SPCA staff. Fireworks and frequent summer thunderstorms terrify animals. Owners go on holiday and leave pets home alone; or simply surrender them into the SPCA's care. It’s cheaper than boarding fees.
From November to January, uMngeni SPCA needs your help to rescue, feed, medically treat and shelter far more animals than usual. Let’s ensure that in uMngeni, No Pets Face their Festive Fears Alone! Warm Regards,
