There are varying degrees on how well we can handle stress but emotionally resilient people tend to share specific characteristics that help them manage difficult situations better than most!
People who are emotionally resilient are generally:
They understand what they’re feeling and why, allowing them to respond appropriately to others and to better cope with difficult emotions such as anger or fear.
They also tend to see the positives in most situations making them manage or handle situations with slightly less stress.
Having a sense of humour is also key as it shifts one's perspective from seeing things as a threat to a less negative challenge to overcome and learn from! So I ask the question again, are you emotionally resilient?
