The annual Laddsworth Primary School Prize Giving took place on Tuesday 7th December 2010, with Mrs Margie Odell, the recently retired head mistress of Ridge Primary School, present as the guest speaker. Mrs Odell hugged each child as they received their prizes, this is how she greeted children during her many years at Ridge. Her companion, a little white dog, kept the children interested as she used stories of him in analogies during her speech.Well done to all the achievers, your upcoming holiday will be a well-deserved break. We wish all the Grade 7 pupils success and happiness at their respective high schools.
