A CLASS of Grade 7 Laddsworth Primary School pupils won R10 000 in the Midlands Liberty Midlands Malls' "re*think: Conserve Water" school art competition on the theme of water conservation.
The class's art work featured waste material and focused on "waterwise" behaviour and ideas for water conservation.
Pictured here are representatives of the winning class, whose names were drawn in a lucky draw. Standing with teacher Keri Maxfield who supervised the artwork and headmaster Gavin Lambooy is Vamile Gumbi. Kneeling are, from left: Danielle Confait, Caitlyn Veness, Lauren Knobel, and Rachel Newlands.
