The Men's Nominated Pairs competition is moving ahead rapidly with five of the first nine games having been completed. Well done, chaps. Let's sew this one up quickly.
Five novice bowlers from Hilton played in the NIBA tournament on Sunday. Andy Hitchcock in his last year as a novice won through to the final eight. Heather Godsmark who only started playing bowls in January this year had a good win in her first game but went down in the second. Mike and Nina Guest and Shelagh Bowness all lost both their first round games but were quite pleased with their play. Well done to our new bowlers. We are very proud of you. Our best wishes to Andy for good bowling in the games to come.
