MUSIC IN THE HILLS THIS WEEKDetails: 7pm, R20 entry, food and soft drinks available, BYOB, visit www.mith.co.za for more details and directions.
7pm - Yuresha Moonsamy
Yuresha Moonsamy is a novice to the stage and to MiTH and will be accompanied by Christo JJ Loots (her teacher, of Alley Cats fame). Yuresha and Christo will be treating us to a selection of classical and flamenco guitar instrumentals. The soul of MiTH - giving the newbies a chance!
7:20pm - Jade Aucamp
Jade Aucamp's acoustic style, created with her guitar and lilting vocals, is young, hip, indie-pop. This nineteen-year-old has played at various casual gigs, open mics and braais, and would like to grow her musical reputation. Her creative output on SoundCloud and YouTube is produced at home, with original compositions influenced by a variety of artists, from Izzy Bizu to Ben Howard and Shortstraw. We hope you enjoy listening to her as much as she enjoys performing for you. Take a look/listen:

8pm - Bifocals
If you like the music of the‘60’s and 70’s The Bifocals are a 6-piece local band that Is bound to tickle your fancy! The band consists of a mixed bag of middle-aged lawyers, teachers and engineers put together and led by Ant Jenkins, and concentrate on the harmonies and tight renditions of this timeless era. They all require bifocal specs to read their music and interact with their audiences, and hence the name of the band.
9pm - Byron Love Consortium
The The Byron Love Consortium consists of Byron Love, Jason Fox (Firetree), CJ Smit (Firetree), but has recently expanded into a five-piece band. Byron will introduce them to us on Wednesday night. Featuring a broad repertoire of covers and originals, Byron is a stalwart of the PMB music scene. The Consortium should round off the evening nicely!
