Nikhil Gopal, in Grade 11 at Grace College, birdied the 36th hole at Royal Johannesburg and Kensington, on Sunday, 22 April 2018 to finish ahead of Ryan van Velzen in the Bridge Fund Managers Junior Series North Final.
This secured Nikhil the top position which means that he will go on to compete in the prestigious US Junior North & South at Pinehurst, North Carolina in June 2018.
