Recently, Engineering Fitness hosted their Self Preservation Seminars with Wayne. He has been a valuable asset to the team, taking these seminars and downloading such valuable information to us. If you missed out on the last three sessions, you are welcome to get a group of ladies together and book your own sessions with him. We would highly recommend this. Self Preservation is a vital skill to know and have, being aware of, and learning how to, get up and out of a life-threatening situation. If you are wanting to push yourself in a more fighter style training, like Maui Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitzu and kickboxing, then he is an excellent trainer to connect with. Contact us to set up a time to meet with him and see how he can help you progress in these arts.
We have just got a new arrival and a valuable asset to the team. This young and fresh blood also has much experience in the forms of kickboxing, Maui Thai Jui Jitzu, self-defense, and wrestling. Julian Accut. He has shown he loves the attention to detail in how the movement is executed and you will also have a great session if you are wanting to be personally trained.
Julian will be running evening classes for the Mustang Athletic brand at Engineering Fitness twice a week: Tues and Thurs 6-7pm. So if you want to kick butt and take names this is a great slot to join. Bookings are done directly with Julian (083 410 4539 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. So if you are needing a sports massage then these hands are what you are needing to book!

Speaking about the comrades, I must take my hat off to all those who are running comrades, it is no easy task. I am having flashbacks of the time when I ran my first Ultra over Easter. Thinking 56km is far, the mental battle of over-coming is constant, the pain your body has to endure is something else; imagine running almost another whole marathon. It blows my mind!
Well done for those who decided to take on the challenge. You are stronger than you know, may all the mental, physical and emotional training gone into this event pay off with the reward you set out to achieve. Getting to the start line is a celebration in itself! I look forward to seeing you on the road or at the finish! If you train with us, and run the comrades, please tag us on Social Media so we can send you a shout out! (@khengineeringfitness)
