Lockdown is hard on everyone,especially children and families who have nothing.I would like to thank everyone who heard my plea for food contribution and opened your hearts,raided your cupboards and opened your purses and wallets to buy essential foods.Today we filled a lot of little hungry tummies and provided homemade sanitizers to a village with no or limited access to water.
Essential foods were split amongst very need families.
With the help of 2 volunteers , Zandile cooked the food they had received as donations and contributions from different people and managed to feed children at the Nhlalakahle village.
They also put dry foods (mielie meal, samp, beans, rice) into ice cream and margerine tubs and distributed to the very needy families.
It is a time for all of us to pull together. Help those who are less fortunate than us.
