Father & Son, is comprised of the talented Michael Webster and MiTH's own Charles Webster. Together, they continue a decade-old family tradition of making music in the Midlands and capturing people's hearts by combining special originals and covers with a family dynamic that adds something extra to any musical experience. Michael is a fantastic proponent of rhythm - an accomplished drummer and percussionist whose strong rhythms and sensitive transitions betray a musical maturity beyond his years. Charles is a well-known Midlands performer, started playing classical guitar at the age of 11, and now follows wherever his passion leads in terms of style, lyric and genre.
7:30pm - 2U Know (pictured RHS)
Local midlands musicians and duo, Leandros Stavrou and William Silk have joined as 2U Know, to create a show of all-time favourite songs from Simon and Garfunkel, Everly Brothers to Rodriguez, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce and John Denver. These songs will have you tapping your feet, snapping your fingers and singing along. Leandros Stavrou a local classical and folk guitarist has performed nationally for many years and offers his amazing skills to young upcoming guitarists by teaching at many of the top schools in the KZN Midlands area. William Silk, is the musical director of the KZN Midlands Youth Choir and the Senior Master of culture at Michaelhouse. He too has performed as a singer and conducted choirs and orchestras nationally and internationally. 2U Know are currently putting their first album together “Songs you Know” of the all-time great songs that have stood the test of time.
