Appeal to care for Hilton's Elderly from W/O Andrew Salzwedel, SAPS

In light of recent security-related events, and to help ensure the wellbeing of our elderly folks in Hilton, the Hilton Community Neighbourhood Watch (HCNW) wants to establish a database with records of people 70 years and older who live alone, or live with disabilities. We’d like to monitor their safety and wellbeing in various ways—visits, phone calls or using technology, and I’d like the initiative to be driven by community volunteers and SAPS members.

 

NB: This database will not be made public knowledge but kept secure and handled by a select few volunteers.
