Andrew Moodley, a young music student from Hilton, recently achieved a very high distinction for his Grade 3 Piano Performance Grade exam through the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) placing him amongst some of the highest scoring music students in South Africa. Pictured here is Andrew with his teacher Ann Boshoff who encouraged him to take his love of playing classical and jazz further by entering exams.
The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) is recognised as the 'gold standard' of music assessment and holds exams in more than 90 countries worldwide. We have thousands of music students entering across South Africa each year and to be awarded a distinction of this level is a remarkable achievement.
