This juvenile was found trapped in Edendale hospital. After being captured, it was taken through to Umgeni Veterinary Clinic where it was given a full check-up.No injuries were found and the owl is fit and healthy. Unfortunately, we are unable to return this youngster back to the location it was found.
While we begin the search for the perfect release site, this Barn Owl has been fitted with a unique metal SAFRING identification ring and has been placed into an outdoor aviary.
We love what we do, and how we do it...❤
