Hi, our son Thomas Truter (Gr12 @ Maritzburg College & Seals Swimming Club, Pietermaritzburg) has made the South African Team for the 9th World Aquatics Junior Swimming Championships to be held in Netanya, Israel (06–10 September 2023) representing SA in Breaststroke and hopefully some Team Relays where over 600 promising young swimmers from more than 100 National Federations are expected to compete.
We would be grateful if you would consider supporting Tom by contributing to his required Team Members' contribution which will be approximately R52200.00 which excludes the following...
- Team Members will be responsible for the application and cost of their VISA
- Team Members will be responsible for the cost of any COVID testing required
- All training camp costs, prior and pre-departure
- Travel Insurance
- Incidentals whilst abroad

Fastest U18 and PBs in all 3 of his events 50/100/200 Meter Breaststroke including first SNR National LC medal (3 Truter, Tom N 17 SEAL-UMD 2:19.03 – Finals)
• AUSC-Region 5 Under 20 YOUTH Games (50m) 2022-Malawi - 04/12/2022 to 07/12/2022
Event 104 Men 20&U 50 Meter Breast - 2 Truter, Tom N 17 RSA 29.13 - (Medical Team scratched him due to chest infection)
• FINA Swimming World Cup 2022 (25m) - Meet 1, Berlin, Germany - 21-23 Oct 2022
First overseas trip which is where the real learning happens and PBs in all 3 events (50/100/200 Meter Breaststroke)
• SA Short Course Swimming Champs (25m) PMBG 22 - 11/08/2022 to 14/08/2022
PBs in all 3 of his events 50/100/200 Meter Breaststroke including first SNR National SC medal (3 Truter, Tom N 17 SEAL-UM 1:01.19 7 - Finals)
