For a child to be able to see themselves in a mirror is an important part of establishing both their body and self image. In a world where cruelty happens every day, we would like to help to change the narrative with our little ones from "You are different so you are not good enough!" to "You are different so you are unique!"
This Mandela Day, we would like to install mirrors in each of our classrooms to help the children to celebrate both their similarities and differences, and have managed to secure some that are 600mm x 300mm for R100 each.
