A celebratory concert of music students who have achieved high scoring distinction results for their Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams in 2023/24. The concert will be held at the Margot Chamberlain Recital Hall, Hilton College on Sunday 20 October at 15h00. The programme includes a variety of instruments from violin tocello, voice to piano and represents performers from grades 1 to grade 8 (music grades).
Formed in 1889, ABRSM have been proud to continue to be the global leader in setting the standard for learning music and have held exams in South Africa for 128 years. ABRSM’s mission is to inspire more people to participate in music and these concerts are a culmination of everyone’s committed hard work coming together in the musical performances. Performances will be heard from a number of highly talented musicians who epitomise the quality of musicianship associated with the achievement of the ABRSM assessments. However, these concerts are firstly a tribute to the hard work as performers and the support and guidance you receive from your teachers and parents.
