Grace talent beyond the norm
Our very own Olwakhe Maganya is making waves in the sport commentating world. He recently commentated for a prestigious sporting event over the Easter Holidays. Here’s what he had to say:
“During the holidays, I had the privilege of continuing my work as a sports commentator with SuperSport Schools at the Kearsney Easter Rugby Festival.
The festival featured an exhilarating competition between some of the country’s top-ranked schools, taking place over three action-packed play days on the 2nd, 4th, and 6th of April 2026.
It was a great experience to be part of such a prestigious event and further develop my skills in a high-level environment. I had the opportunity to commentate alongside respected professionals such as Andy Capostagno, Sky Tshabalala, and Zeke Oosthuis, which allowed me to gain valuable insight, refine my delivery, and grow in confidence while covering top-quality school rugby”
