Copper theft continues to be a concern across our operational areas, with copper piping, electrical cable and other outdoor items being targeted. We encourage all clients and residents to remain vigilant, secure vulnerable items and report any suspicious activity immediately.
A reminder on the importance of opening a case: Where a crime has occurred, we strongly encourage clients to report the incident to SAPS and open a case. Reporting incidents helps ensure that crimes are officially recorded and provides SAPS with information that can assist in identifying repeat offenders and monitoring crime trends in our communities.
