Today a very moving Remembrance Day Service was held in the school chapel commemorating all the Old Hiltonians who died in battle. Rev Dr Scott Couper addressed the boys. Two minutes silence was observed after the Chapel Bell was rung at exactly 11:00 followed by the sounding of The Last Post. Thereafter, the complete Roll of Honour was read out by the 2017 Heads of Houses and 2017 Head of School and Deputy Head of School. Our Headmaster, Mr Peter Ducasse, laid a wreath in memory of those who died.“They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old, age shall not weary them nor the years condemn: at the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. We will remember them.”
