'Our Grade 10 boys are on a 15-day journey to the Karkloof and Albert Falls Dam and back. Their journey – on foot, bicycle and canoe – takes them out of their comfort zones as they learn to work in team, with members of their dorms, and to express themselves in team and in community. On their return, they will place their own rock on the “isivivane” – which literally means “throw your stone upon the pile” – to symbolize their personal contribution to a greater collective task, or the mark they are leaving on Hilton College.'
