Hope Trust is a non-profit organisation started by Hilton Christian Fellowship 7 years ago. Our main area of work is with the poor living in Sweetwaters. Our desire is to see the poor and sick set free to reach their full potential and become all that God has purposed for them.
Our work has three main thrusts:
development: the imparting of skills, such as entrepreneurial skills, financial saving, home food gardens and life skills
welfare: assisting with school fees and uniforms, accessing government grants, and other interventions for orphaned and abandoned children
home-based care: visiting and caring for the very sick and dying
There are numerous opportunities for people to support our work and become involved in bringing hope and a future to the poor who are all around us.
Some of these include:
Joining us on fortnightly home visits (alternate Wednesdays)
Supporting us with donations, both financial and material, in particular:
Clothes and shoes of all sizes
Linen and bedding
Food (especially fortified porridges/cereals)
Fabric and haberdashery
Money (see bank details below)
Prayer support through receiving our regular prayer requests and newsletters
Bank account: Hope Trust Nedbank Branch: Cascades Acc no. 1343058546
All donations to Hope Trust are tax deductible. Our Financial Officer is Craig Clark of Surelink Wealth. We are audited annually by Ash, Hellberg & Van Rooyen.
