The inaugural Hilton parkrun at Grace College on Saturday, 29 September 2018 welcomed a crowd of 953 participants. A parkrun is a free, weekly, timed, 5km run or walk. The course is suitable for prams and dogs on short leashes may join in. Thanks to the awesome group of parkrun volunteers, the event ran smoothly and feedback on the route was positive.
Melody Egan is a young, vibrant mother of 2, and like most woman loves fashion accessories. Mel was previously a Honey Consultant back in 2008 and absolutely loved it.

Nick de Scally, who is in Gr11 at Grace College, represented KZN in the national schools athletics event in Bloemfontein on Saturday, 13 October. He won the 800m race, running his personal best time, which is now 1:54. This result was only just off the record by 1 second, a record which Johan Cronje, a world championship bronze medalist, has held for the last 20 years. It is also the longest standing record for the Grey Bloemfontein Athletics event. Nick followed this awesome success with a 4th position in the demanding 1500m.
Tarryn Plaatjes (Gr12) passed her first major elementary (Primer Año Estudiante) Spanish Dance exam through the Spanish Dance Society, with a distinction and final mark of 85%.
Laddsworth sisters Jodi Moreno and Tessa Moreno represented South African at the GAJSMA International Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Championship on 30 September 2018, in Gauteng.

Laddsworth Primary School’s Grade 7 pupils enjoyed performing ‘The Wizard’ to their Grandparents on Tuesday 11 September and to their parents and friends at two evening performances on Wednesday 12 September and Thursday 13 September.
